Endodontic therapy (root canal treatment) is concerned with removal of dental pulp with inflammatory changes from tooth cavity and its canals.
This therapy is applied in case of caries being the complication after inflammation, necrosis or gangrene (disintegration) of dental pulp. Very often, this is the only and last chance to save the affected tooth.
We make every effort to tightly fill in tooth canals. To that end, among the many devices we use is an endometer, which enables accurate measurements of the teeth canal, and we can confirm whether the therapy is effective via X-ray in our own lab.
We also take up secondary endodontic surgery in the case of minor cusp lesions in the root area. The treatment involves re-drainage of the root canal, the use of ozone in order to remove bacteria around the tooth canal and the refilling of the canal.
